The lotus leaves are symbolic to detachment as the water drops fall off from the leaves without wetting them .This high concept philosophy has been given much exposure to the design
The composition is painted on a Assam silk mekela with acrylic colour.The contrast dark pink chador is a perfect match for the beige mekhela.A small composition of this design has also been painted on the back of this blouse that takes the whole mekhla chador to a different level of style. This design falls on the right side of the mekhela along with three pleats. This light weight, high quality silk will be a comfortable and perfect drape for all seasons.
