Nature in art take many visual forms from photorealism to abstraction.This painting is one of that kind and depicts the different details of a Kanchan tree.The lilac kanchan flowers look gorgeous on dark gray based Assamsilk.
Knowing the fact very well that nature is the original designer of this world and hundred percent replicating its object is quite impossible, yet I painted this composition because its bilobed butterfly leaves,the lilac colour of the flowers and the intoxicating mild fragrance always encouraged me to paint them.
This composition is painted on a powder pink colour assamsilk with French silkpaint and then it is fixed on a rich wine colour Assamsilk.Thus it gets a double layered pallu and that gives a beautiful fall.
