Without attempting to create a realistic picture this time the flowers are given only intrinsic form with turquoise blue and black colour.The abstract flowers creates a bright effect on rich peacock blue surface. The5″ floral motifs are painted on the running border and 1’50mt on the pallu.First the border and the pallu was dyed separately on a silk fabric then painted with silkpaint after that it was fixed on this Bangalore silk.As the saree gets double layers on the border and pallu it becomes comparatively heavier and gives a perfect drape.
