Lilac Kanchan

We don’t truely belong to concrete,steel and glass. We are children of amber trees, emerald oceans, gray rivers, blue mountains and azure sky. So, somewhere deep down we all long for these colourful world.

This lilac kanchan flowers on the dark wine base look gorgeous.Nature in art can take many visual forms from photorealism to abstraction. This painting is one of that kind and depicts the different details of a kanchan tree. It’s bilobed butterfly leaves ,the lilac colour of the flowers and the intoxicating fragrance compelled me to paint this tree.Nature is the original designer of this world and hudred percent replicating its objects is quite impossible.

This composition is painted on a peach colour Assamsilk with silkpaint then it is fixed on a dark wine colour pure mulberry Assamsilk.The paint and the silk have lifetime durability if it is handled with care.
