A lotus symbolizes purity of the body and soul while the deep rooted stalk with the blossom stands for desire. Its also symbolic to detachment as drops of water slide off its leaves and petals. An excellent artistry made this work so mesmerising.
This beautiful design was first drawn on the fabric then painted with acrylic paint. It is a complete composition with lotuses and water birds. The water droplets on the leaves are so realistic that you feel like to touch them.
The painting is done on patsilk of assam which is known for its natural sheen and durability.
