Batik silk

This traditional Bengal Batik is dyed on Assam Silk.This design is particularly different from typical other Bengal batik designs.The design is first drew directly on the white fabric then the design was covered with hot liquid wax according to the demand of the design.In this the dying dhupchaya colour was also very challenging and experimental as this is a combination of three colours dyed one after another.There after wax was removed by washing the fabric in the hot boiling soap water.Then this magic was created on the silk .
