The Untold Tale Of A Six Yards

My musing and writing on sarees makes me feel that if sarees could speak they might have so many untold tales to tell…..
For me each saree is alive as I instill life in it while recreating nature on its body.
After completing this painting I hung the saree on my door just to take a snapshot…. it was drizzling outside …..a drought of wind swayed the crumpled saree and it cooed quietly….
she left me alone on a grey morning of rain…..yet I breathe in her forgetfulness .. the wet petals of the yellow flowers, still hold the fragrance of the last night. And I look at her going and struggle with my tears, till the agony of my unspoken words burst like bubbles…voices come swarming from the past,—seeking answers from the living moments…then the rain drenched breeze whispers in my ears ,”you are nothing but a six yards”.My fond remembrance gets lost in its depth.
